Umaid Ali is affiliated with Bahria University Islamabad as an Assistant Professor Electrical Engineering and Wing Head, Systems Engineering, Centre of Excellence in AI (CoE-AI). I received a B.Eng. in electronics from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, and a Master’s degree from International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan. I worked in Interactive Group for six years. I am also currently working towards a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Bahria School of Engineering & Applied Sciences Islamabad Campus (BSEAS-IC), Pakistan. My research interests include control of Micro-grids, Artificial Intelligence based Model Predictive Controllers and Product Development. I am a Researcher with an Electrical Engineering background who has gained extensive experience in integrating engineering products with the latest industry trends. During my Ph.D., I bring forth profound knowledge, extensive experience, and technical abilities. My research lies in designing AI based control strategies for parallel operating power electronics converters, especially based on advanced electrical power systems for renewable energy sources. I am always enthusiastic about maintaining close contact with the control of power converters and have an aptitude for innovation, creative problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical thinking. Having a thirst for knowledge, a journey full of challenges, and the power of persistence, I believe that this is just the beginning of my research vision.
